Bob is the founder of Zimmerman & Associates, LLC., CPAs. His accounting career began following graduation from Penn State University. He did his postgraduate work at Loyola College.

Bob is the technical and management leader of Z&A. Under his leadership Zimmerman & Associates, LLC., CPAs has grown from a small two-man operation to a regional organization. Bob continues to constantly update himself in the accounting and taxation phases of business. He is also the author of our newsletter, "The Newsledger".

Bob has sat on various professional committees, donating his extensive business knowledge and experience to the financial communities who have supported our firm’s growth and made numerous speeches to financial institutions, community groups and trade associations. His knowledge of the construction industry is among the top in the country.

Rich is a graduate of Loyola College with a degree in accounting and the senior member in charge of our tax department. He also chairs our new business program and public relations department. In this capacity, he is constantly interacting with bankers, lawyers, investment brokers, insurance agents and numerous public figures.

Rich’s captivating personality, determination, and unique leadership abilities allow him to be readily understood by outside professionals, clients, and our staff members. He encompasses the knowledge and experience to effectively plan and execute complicated business and tax programs and both the intellectual and emotional literacy to help our clients through complicated tax territory. The tone of his leadership sets a great example to our professional staff, clients, and the business community.

Dave is a graduate of UMBC with a degree in economics. He is the Senior member of Zimmerman & Associates LLC in control of all phases of professional accounting services rendered by Z&A. As such, Dave is in charge of our field accounting operations. In these capacities, he controls our internal staffing as well as our field operations staff.

Dave’s supportive and approachable management and leadership style combined with his extensive accounting operations knowledge and experience make him an essential part our team. He is aggressive in working for you yet calm and collected which creates a great working relationship. His friendly forthright personality continuously has made him a treasured confidant to our clients and staff alike.

Sean is young, aggressive, and hard working. Sean has received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Maryland.  He has extensive experience with government and nonprofit organizations, as well as construction accounting. He is detail oriented; organized and motivated to provide the best service for our clients.  Sean  is also our QuickBooks expert.  Sean is the future of this firm.

Kayla is a graduate of American University where she focused on law and finance.  Like our own founding member, Bob, she minored in psychology!  Her talents lean toward critical thinking and common-sense things this world sorely needs.

Carly joins us after training with an Owings Mills accounting firm.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from West Virginia University.  Look for this college cheerleader to cheer her way to the top of Z&A with care and emotion – a team player for certain!
